Directly manage and lead teams within Balfour Beatty, Clark, and Smoot Construction to design and build high profile construction projects. Perform high-end scheduling, in-depth estimating, logistics and safety plans, value engineering solutions, and bid and work packages. Projects directly involved with and led:
700 Sixth Street, NW: 12 story, 303,000 SF, $55.9 million "trophy-class" office building with extensive exterior and interior stone work. This project was the second office building in Washington, DC, to achieve LEED Platinum.
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center: Design-build services for 725,000 SF of new construction and 375,000 SF of renovation on a $614 million project that is the nation’s second largest design-build hospital. This project was designed and built to LEED Silver specifications, and it involves full finish and fit-out, extensive use of building information modeling (BIM) and work on an active federal campus. This is an award-winning project.
National Gallery of Art: $59.2 million high profile venture with Smoot Construction to restore the aesthetic appearance and to remove, modify and reset 17,000 plus exterior marble panels on the historic National Gallery of Art East Building in Washington, D.C. designed by the ’master of modern architecture’ I.M. Pei.
